Scenario 1: Marshland Pack vs. Board (Non-comic) Pack

In this scenario, a marshland pack challenges a board pack for land. They do change leadership, and any other rules that are different and belonged in the marsh pack before the challenge. They also take their members with them, should they win. Think about this though. Having a marshland pack and having a board pack aren't very different. The main difference is the number of challenges each participates in. The marshlands are made for constant change, the board packs for stability. You should only make a pack because you have a good idea and want to roleplay it. NOT because you want land. Think carefully before challenging. THE MODS HAVE THE RIGHT TO TURN DOWN APPLICATIONS. End of story, because we might.

Rules

  1. No marshland pack under EIGHT MONTHS of establishment can challenge a board pack. This will hopefully promote activity within the marshlands, and pack creation for the main reason of roleplay, not land claim.
  2. Board packs will have a maximum of THREE challenges a year. This means there is a four month grace period between challenges.
  3. Should a marshland pack win, they are not to be challenged for a grace period of NINE MONTHS. This will ensure that the new alpha has a chance to get everything up and running long before being challenged for their land.
  4. If a pack has a new alpha, that alpha must be instated for at least SIX MONTHS before another challenge be made.
  5. Any fighting within the challenge thread while IC will void a challenge. Fighting is allowed in the fight thread only.
  6. Any foul behavior OOC will void a challenge. Both sides are required to be civil about a challenge. There must be significant evidence of this. One can not just accuse their challenger to get out of the challenge.
  7. Any past examples of negative behavior by a pack, or irresponsibility or immaturity by an alpha will severely damage your chances of getting an application accepted.
  8. All conditions of the fight must be discussed OOCly, but then mentioned ICly in the challenge thread. If an agreement cannot be reached, then the Mods will choose the fate of the fighting conditions.
  9. When a marshland pack makes the move to a board, they leave their marshland territory behind. A pack cannot be in two places at once, and unless a member leaves the pack, they cannot roleplay in the marshlands and the board pack at the same time.
  10. Comic packs can only be challenged for leadership, not land. Ahriman, Aral, Meiddio, and Sohpiax if defeated, must keep all rules, name, and religion as instated. They may only switch leaders.
  11. If a marsh pack challenges a board pack to a FULL PACK challenge, the must abandon their land in the marshlands to make the challenge, since they cannot be in two places at once. Likewise, if all the warriors, or the alpha, are participating in the challenge, THEY CANNOT POST IN THE MARSHLANDS which means they may NOT defend their land against challengers in the marshlands. This is a risk you must take. Consider it before challenging. Do you want to bring your best fighters to challenge a pack hundreds of miles away, leaving your current territory in danger?
  12. Members found abusing any loopholes will be denied the right to challenge ANY board pack until correctly done.

Scenario 2: Alpha vs. Character

In this scenario, a character challenges and alpha for leadership. They do not change the name or impose a new religion, they merely challenge for the throne from the current alpa. Think carefully before deciding to challenge an alpha. Do you think you will do a better job than the current ruling alpha? If the current alpha is active and doing a good job, it would be a shame if someone came in and made the place inactive due to greed or power hunger followed by laziness. That person would probably be seriously disliked. Think carefully before challenging. THE MODS HAVE THE RIGHT TO TURN DOWN APPLICATIONS. End of story, because we might.

Rules

  1. If a non-pack character wishes to challenge for the position of alpha, said character must have been active for NINE MONTHS, and have been in existence for at least ONE YEAR. This will ensure that the character is going to stay active once he/she claims leadership.
  2. If a pack member wants to challenge for leadership, said character must have been a member of the pack for at least SIX MONTHS, and have been active all six months. Said character must have also been in existence for ONE YEAR.
  3. The character vs. alpha challenge counts as one of the three a pack can receive in the one year period. This is to ensure a steady leadership. Stable leaders create stable packs.
  4. There is a FOUR MONTH grace period between challenges.
  5. If a pack has a new alpha, that alpha must be instated for at least SIX MONTHS before another challenge be made. Likewise, if your character wins the challenge, they cannot be challenged again for another SIX MONTHS.
  6. Any fighting within the challenge thread while IC will void a challenge. Fighting is allowed in the fight thread only.
  7. Any foul behavior OOC will void a challenge. Both sides are required to be civil about a challenge. There must be significant evidence of this. One can not just accuse their challenger to get out of the challenge.
  8. Any past examples of negative behavior by a pack, or irresponsibility or immaturity by an alpha will severely damage your chances of getting an application accepted.
  9. All conditions of the fight must be discussed OOCly, but then mentioned ICly in the challenge thread. If an agreement cannot be reached, then the Mods will choose the fate of the fighting conditions.
  10. Comic packs can only be challenged for leadership, not land. Ahriman, Aral, Meiddio, and Sohpiax if defeated, must keep all rules, name, and religion as instated. They may only switch leaders.
  11. Members found abusing any loopholes will be denied the right to challenge ANY board pack until correctly done.

Scenario 3: Marshland Pack vs. Marshland Pack

In this scenario, a Marshland pack challenges another Marshland pack for land. Should the challenger win, they get the challenged's land. Go here for marshland rules. [Link coming soon]

Scenario 4: Militus vs. Secundus

In this scenario, a Militus in Meiddio challenges a Secundus for land and position as a Secundus. Should the Militus win, they get the status of Secundus, and get the previous Secundus' land. The rules for these challenges are a lot like the marshland challenge rules. Please view marshland challenge rules for rules on a Militus vs. Secundus fight.

Name of Marshland pack:
Age of pack:
How many times have you challenged in the past year: (whether it be the same board pack or a different board pack)

Explain how often posts are made, how many active members are there, etc. Active members are members that have posted within two months. Active members and not characters are what is counted. This is to prohibit a pack with three players and fifty characters from taking over a pack with thirty members and thirty characters.)

How long has the alpha been instated: (note, if a pack has more than one alpha, at least one of those alphas must have been in leadership for four months. Even if a pack with more than one alpha has recently had an alpha change, if one alpha has stayed the same for four months they are available for challenge)
